The Jets have claimed 23-year old WR Patrick Turner off waivers from the Dolphins.  Turner is a big target at 6’5″, 220 pounds but he played in 2 games (0 starts) as a rookie last season for the Fins and he didn’t catch any passes.  He played in 4 pre-season games with the Fins and he caught 5 passes for 90 yards (18.0 avg).  Turner was a teammate of Jets’ QB Mark Sanchez in college and don’t think for a minute that didn’t have something to do with this waiver claim.
