The NFL has suspended 32-year old DE Shaun Ellis for the first game of the 2009 season (without pay) and they have fined him $100,000 bucks for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy.  Ellis played in 16 games (all starts) for the Jets last season and he made 60 tackles and had 8 sacks.  The Jets will definately miss Ellis against the Texans in Houston.
