The New York Jets have traded the #25 pick in the first round, their 2nd round pick (#59) and their 5th round pick (#164) for the Panthers #14 pick in the first round and their 6th round pick (#199).  The Jets selected Cornerback Darrelle Revis from Pitt with their pick acquired from the Panthers.

I have conducted a complete 7 round draft for every team in the NFL.  If you want to see what I have projected for any other team in the NFL, click on the team name in the right hand margin and go to the team’s Draft Report page if you don’t see the article on the front page of the site.  This was a lot of work so I hope you enjoy it.

The Jets are going to try to fill need positions as long as they get good value doing that.  I think they will and here’s who I think the new Jets will be:

1. (25)  Ben Grubbs, OG, Auburn

2. (59)  Daymeion Hughes, CB, California

2. (63)  Quentin Moses, DE, Georgia

3. (89)  Ryan Harris, OT, Notre Dame

5. (164)  Joe Newton, TE, Oregon State

6. (177)  LeRoy Harris, C, North Carolina State

Coach Mangini knows what wins football games and it’s defense and the offensive line.  The Jets will have gotten good value in the draft if they wind up with this bunch of players.
