The Jets really couldn’t get anything going against the Bears tough defense yesterday.  Chad Pennington completed 19 of 35 passes for 162 yards and 2 INTs.  Cedric Houston ran well, as he carried the ball 11 times for 50 yards (4.5 ypc).  Leon Washington had a rough game with 13 carries for 22 yards (1.7 ypc).  Lauveranues Coles had a good game with 8 catches for 80 yards.  Tim Dwight caught 5 passes for 40 yards and carried the ball once for 28 yards.

Kerry Rhodes (9 tackles, sack) and Victor Hobson (9 tackles) led the way on a good defensive effort by the Jets.  The Jets had a rough time with the Bears running game as the Bears carried the ball 35 times for 173 yards (4.9 ypc).  The Bears only completed 11 of 22 passes for 111 net yards passing.

The Jets fought hard but failed because the offense just isn’t that good for the Jets this season.
