The Jets have cut the Patriots lead in the AFC East to one game with a fantastic win on the road in New England.  Chad Pennington completed 22 of 33 passes for 168 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT.  Kevan Barlow carried the bulk of the running load with 17 carries for 75 yards (4.4 ypc) and a TD.  Leon Washington carried the ball 9 times for 35 yards (3.9 ypc).  Jerricho Cotchery had a big game with 6 catches for 70 yards and a TD.  Justin McCareins pitched in with 3 receptions for 31 yards.  Laveranues Coles caught 5 passes for 29 yards.

Kerry Rhodes led an opportunistic Jets’ defense with 10 tackles & a fumble recovery.  Safety Erik Coleman also had a huge game with 9 tackles and an interception.  The Patriots ran the ball well against the Jets with 25 carries for 143 yards (5.7 ypc).  The Patriots completed 25 of 37 passes for 234 net yards passing.
