Coach thinks he is still with the NE Patrios. You do not go on 4th and goal from the 2 yd line unless your NE 2004. Coaching errors have cost the JETS more games than I can immagine.
I have to agree with you. I do think Mangini has done a good job with the Jets so far. I like him so much more than Herman Edwards.
Although I didn’t agree with the decision not to kick the field goal at the time, in retrospect, Mangini is thinking out of the box (e.g. the 2nd quarter onside kick) and in the long run that style will pay off. The Jets have become an interesting team to watch, maybe even an exciting team.
I don’t see how Peter can complane about a call in a game. Our x coach would have called nothing. I have been a fan since super bowl 3 and I am very happy. We are doing better with a team that probely is not as good as last year. Great coach.
You’re right John. Herman Edwards was a terrible coach. The fact that Mangini has this collection of players 4-4 speaks volumes about him as a football coach. The Jets are going in the right direction and had a great draft. A couple of more drafts like that and the Jets will be back in the playoffs.
